EU ENGAGE is a Horizon 2020 project funded by the European Union and coordinated by the University of Siena, which analyzes the tensions between the supranational governance of the European Union and the national popular mobilizations questioning the legitimacy of the Union.

In the framework of the EU ENGAGE project, an online debate of 11 consecutive days gathered 500 European citizens, assisted by 20 moderators, who were able to debate three central European issues: security, immigration and economy.

Particitiz was the project partner for the moderation and monitoring of the quality of the online debate. Particitiz recruited, trained and accompanied a group of 20 moderators, mastering 10 different languages, who worked in teams and facilitated the debates 7 days a week, from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, in a “Moderation Room” located in the heart of Brussels.
