The municipality of Saint-Gilles wishes to involve residents in the development of public policies, and has therefore created a Permanent Citizens Council composed of 35 Saint-Gilles residents chosen by lot, in order to promote citizen participation and interaction between residents and elected officials.
The Permanent Citizens Council allows for active participation in the making of certain municipal decisions that have a concrete impact on the daily lives of the citizens of Saint-Gilles. The Permanent Citizens Council has a consultative role and is competent to make proposals and arguments.
